The first annual fashion show held at the Clear Falls High School auditorium known as “A Knight on the Runway,” was filled with “energy, enthusiasm and style,” according to Fashion Marketing teacher, Elisabeth Smith.
On Monday, May 14, two classes, Mrs. Yorlano’s Professional Communications class and Mrs. Smith Fashion Marketing class, worked together to produce the fashion show which benefited the graduating class of 2013.
The Fashion show also provided assistance for students in the Houston are who cannot afford prom attire. Some students who attended brought
gently used prom dresses for “The Fairy God Mother Project.”
While the Knights were helping out others, emcee of the Haute Couture, Samantha Durand, a junior, made sure it wasn’t chaotic backstage.
“I took care of the scheduling and talking to the models,” said Durand. “The class helped a lot as well.”
One of the models, Tori Ruszkouski, a junior, thought the fashion show went pretty well.
“I think the show went pretty smoothly for it being our first fashion show,” said Ruszkouski.
This fashion show could have not been possible with out some of its contributors; Buckle, Unzipped, and JC Penny. Clear Fall’s first Fashion show did not disappoint.
“From the toddlers carried out by teens, to the faculty who participated, everyone was fabulous,” said Mrs. Smith.
