Christmas Time is Here?

Out of the past 16 years that I’ve seen my Christmas tree lit up, I can’t remember hearing so much complaining about one of the best holidays to celebrate: Christmas.
Filled with lights, presents and toy drives for children in need, Christmas time manages to bring the community together. People tend to forget their problems, or at least put them aside and fill their lives with Christmas spirit. As proved in the movie “A Christmas Carol,” even a small amount of Christmas spirit can transform someone from being a “Scrooge” into a person who saves Christmas.
Nowadays, most people have a “Scrooge” attitude towards the holiday. They say “decorating too early,” as they call it, is just not right. These people think that a person who decorates before Thanksgiving Day is crazy. They say that you can’t get into the Christmas spirit until it’s actually December. I, on the other hand, think that decorating early is a good idea.
If you were planning on having family and friends over for a Thanksgiving feast, wouldn’t you want your house to be decorated? Not only does it embellish your house, but it also puts people in the holiday spirit. If you wait until after the celebration, your friends and family members may not leave with a jolly spirit.
Decorating early makes you want the 25th of December to arrive earlier. That’s the main reason my family and I decided to decorate before December. Christmas is the best holiday without a doubt. People seem nicer, and who doesn’t like eating massive amount of food? That is why I support the people who decorate beforehand.
So depending on what type of person you are, a “Scrooge” or the jolliest person alive, always know Christmas is a time for giving, receiving and forgetting. So forget about what others are doing and go decorate for Christmas.
